Un-Licensed Handyman

I went to a job recently, crawled under the house to locate a possible leak. What I found astounded me. I located a 2" ABS trap disconnected, never glued to a 11/2" tailpiece for a waste and overflow on a tub. I guess the water was just supposed to find the trap and drain.

This same drain was supposed to be vent through the roof, it wasn't, it was cut short of the sub floor under the house and the back side of the drain wasn't connected or terminated at all, it was just an open drain.

The customer paid A Handyman, who said he was a plumber, to complete the job. She was taken for a ride by an unlicensed con man who left her blindsided and hundreds of dollars short.

Lesson Here, Hire Only Licensed and Insured Tradesman and Don't Always Go With The Lowest Bidder. You Do Really Get What You Pay For.
